Rai is one of the senior journalists among Indigenous Journalists in Nepal. Being involved in Kantipur National daily newspaper for over one-and-half decade as sub-editor, is editor of Libju-Bhuju magazine, only magazine published by his Wambule Rai indigenous community in Nepal. He has in-depth knowledge and working experience in the Indigenous peoples education, language, culture and literature.
