Government finally appoints new officials at NFDIN

Government on Wednesday finally appointed top officials at Nepal Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN), a government body to oversee the development of Indigenous peoples in Nepal.

The posts of Vice-chairman and Member Secretary were remained vacant for almost 11-months due to political turmoil in appointment of the officials.

KP Sharma Oli lead government appointed Chandra Bahadur Gurung, as a vice Chairperson of NFDIN and Gobinda Lal Majhi as a member secretary.

Gurung is a central member of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-Nepal) while, Majhi is close to CPN-UML. Their tenure will be 4-years long.
