Bam Kumari Budha Magar is a rights activist. She is a former member of parliament during Panchyat regime. She served as chairperson at Ethnography Museum of Nepal. She has been associated with Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN), National Indigenous Women Federation (NIWF) including several other indigenous peoples organizations. She has played active role in mainstreaming Nepalese indigenous womens concerns and rights. She has contributed several books and articles especially on the Magar Culture, language and identity, including indigenous women.
